Alan Stilwell
Born 1966 in Chipman N.B. Alan grew up in a home full of music playing many kitchen parties. He picked up the guitar as a teenager as many of his friends did. They tinkered with garage bands and school events but it wasn’t until he was in his twenties that he took his playing and singing more seriously. In 1992 after having won a local talent contest he was asked to join the band “DirtRoad.
He played off and on for many years with DirtRoad and formed his own band “Men Without Work”. He also fronted the “Austinators” for a period of time. He has performed at many Benefits, Telethons and events such as Chipman Summer Festival, Minto Coal Mining Festival, Pioneer Days, Floodstock 2008 and The New Brunswick Country Showcase. Alan is currently performing with Cheryle Chambers in the country duo “Cedar Creek”.
