Brent Rickard Born 1968 in Fredericton, N.B. Brent grew up in Maugerville and now lives in Noonan. He started singing at age 4 and playing guitar at age 12. Brent has played and sang at many weddings and funerals and recently did a show with Classic Country in January 2007. Able to take what’s thrown at him and land on his feet Brent tells a story of doing a fundraiser in Blackville and the backup band didn't show up. He says he played and sang every song he could think of even if he knew the words or not. He must know the meaning of "The Show Must Go On". A new performer with The New Brunswick Country Showcase Brent writes his own songs as well and demonstrated that ability on the March 3rd show. A very pleasant person to talk with and a talented performer we're looking forward to working with him again soon.
