Katelyn Farrell and Papa Maston
Born 1994 in Fredericton, N.B. Katelyn and her Papa Maston have been performing since she was 3. Katelyn has also been playing mandolin since the age of 7. Papa (Frank) Maston is in the Minto Country Music Hall of Fame. Nan Maston writes many of her songs.
Katelyn has played in the "Frank Maston Band" (including her Nan and Papa Maston) in places like the Fredericton Exhibition, The Bugsy Green Show, Rusagornish Gospel Festival, The Doaktown Fair, Country Junction, The Sussex Jamboree and The Playhouse in Fredericton.
Having two recordings to her credit...."Papa and Me" recorded in 2001, and "Family Reunion" recorded in 2006 (including 13 songs ranging from country, gospel and 2 of Nan's recordings, they have cd's for sale. Katelyn and Papa Maston are regulars on The New Brunswick Counry Showcase and we look forward to their performances for a long time to come.
