Sam Johnston
Born 1949 in Fredericton, James “Sam” Johnston has been playing and singing for 50 years. Sam’s uncles and cousins played and sang and his father also sang in church. No stranger to the N.B. Country Showcase, Sam performed with us when it was the Capital City Jamboree. He has performed with Aubrey Hanson and has played all over New Brunswick and P.E.I. Sam currently plays with “Classic Country” and has multiple recordings to his credit including his own 45, Backup on Gary Fullarton’s Cd, “Classic Country” Cd, a compilation Cd called “Nashwaak Sound 2000” and his own “At The Alter” Cd.
