Three Point Hitch

Three Point Hitch
With over 122 years of cumulative playing experience, Three Point Hitch is an act you won't want to miss. Lloyd Mullin, born 1948, Alex McGibbon, born 1941, and Stirling Nickerson, born 1940, make up this trio of seasoned musicians. Coming from a variety of family musical backgrounds they have particitpated in bands like Coastline Country, Midnight Smoke, The Queenston Trio, The Marie Short Country Band and one that might sound familiar, The Allison Inch Dance Band. Having been together for the past 4 years, the boys have played at Reg Gallant's Country Show in Saint John, at the Sussex Country Jamboree with Gary Morris, as well at a previous appearance on the NB Country Showcase. Their close harmonies as well as their pure acoustic sound are always well received. With a few recordings under their belt, like "Queenston Heights" and "Hills of Home" both by the Queenston Trio, their new CD was released in June. It is called “Stuff That Works” and contains 14 songs that include folk, country, bluegrass, celtic and gospel.
